Classification of Laptops

In this technological booming area, laptops have many further classifications. Let us try to know few of them at least. Some of the important types are as follows:-
UMPC's- Known as ultra mobile portable Pc's .They are known their super portability.Few models used in the market are Sony VAIO UX Micro PC.
Ultraportables- They are having screen with screen a little less than 12 inches. Keyboards here are also very small. High end users mainly Corporate Big Boss, renowned business tycoon use them. They have extended battery life but very expensive.

Thin-and-lights- Laptops having weight between 4-6 lbs and screen size of about 12 to 14 inches fall under this category.

Mainstream- Conventional laptops having weight between 5 and 7 lbs and screen size of 14.1 inches and 15.4 are of this type. Some common brand names are ell Inspiron E1405, E1505, 1420,1520/1521 and 1501
